Inflation

Inflation is the increase in prices of goods and services in a given time period and is one of the many factors that influence a currency's exchange rate in relation to other currencies. This increase, or decrease, provides insights into the direction of the forex market. It is also a key factor used by the central banks in determining interest rates, so changes on the inflation rate can have a major impact on the financial markets.
